Summary
- Booking and stay. We process the data needed to handle your booking and stay: name, e-mail address, phone number, billing address and contact person, and – at check-in, as required by law – place and date of birth and the number of your identity document. Accounting documents are kept for 8 years as required by Hungarian accounting law.
- Disclosure. We do not misuse personal data. Booking data may be requested by the Municipality of Balatonudvari for the tourist tax return; otherwise data appear only as statistics in the system of the Hungarian Tax and Customs Administration. Courts and authorities may request data where the law allows; we only disclose what is strictly necessary.
- Cookies and analytics. The website uses cookies that are necessary for its operation, and Google Analytics for anonymous visitor statistics. You can delete cookies in your browser settings.
- Newsletter. We only send marketing e-mails with your prior consent; you can unsubscribe at any time, free of charge, via the link in the e-mail.
- Social media. Sharing or liking our content on Facebook is governed by Facebook’s own privacy rules. Our pages: facebook.com/pipacsesbuborek, instagram.com/pipacsesbuborek.
- Camera surveillance. For property protection, one camera each operates above the entrance of the guesthouse and in the back garden (video and audio). Recordings are deleted automatically after 72 hours. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). There are no cameras inside the apartments. Details are in the camera notice in our House Rules.
- Security. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or loss.
- Your rights. You may request information about your data, and their correction, erasure or restriction, by e-mail to info@pipacsesbuborek.hu. We respond in writing within 30 days at the latest, free of charge. You may object to processing; we decide on objections within 15 days. You may turn to the courts or lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH, www.naih.hu).
