We built our guesthouse in Balatonudvari in 2025. Why here? Because to us, this is the most wonderful place in the world. We grew up here, spent every summer with our grandmother, and now our children are making their own best summer memories here.

Balatonudvari lies on the north shore of Lake Balaton, 10 km from Balatonfüred, 9 km from the centre of Tihany and half an hour by car from Badacsony. It is ideal for relaxing, yet the main sights of the lake are easy to reach by bike, car or train, so you do not have to miss out on the buzz either. The hiking trails of the Balaton Uplands National Park and one of its most precious gems, the Káli Basin, are also close by.

The village beach has everything you need: a shallow section for children, a huge playground, beach football, volleyball, pedal boats, boats, SUP rental, good snack bars and plenty of shade.

The house is 200 metres from the beach. No need to squeeze the air mattress into the car 🙂 and no need to fight for a parking space either.

There is a small grocery shop in the village, and a larger, well-stocked supermarket in the neighbouring village.

Pipacs és Buborék consists of three two-storey apartment houses. The first and third houses are rented out as a whole, while the second is rented floor by floor. Each unit has its own small garden area, terrace and balcony.

New at our place: Relax & Fun. A jacuzzi awaits you in the garden and can be booked for 2.5-hour sessions or for the whole day. Electric bikes will soon be available for rent, perfect for exploring the cycle path along the north shore, and SUP boards can be rented in season. Guests arriving by electric car can charge on site.
