in other words, about us…

We built our guesthouse in Balatonudvari in 2025. Why here? Because to us, this is the most wonderful place in the world. We grew up here, spent every summer with our grandmother, and now our children are making their own best summer memories here.
Balatonudvari lies on the north shore of Lake Balaton, 10 km from Balatonfüred, 9 km from the centre of Tihany and half an hour by car from Badacsony. It is ideal for relaxing, yet the main sights of the lake are easy to reach by bike, car or train, so you do not have to miss out on the buzz either. The hiking trails of the Balaton Uplands National Park and one of its most precious gems, the Káli Basin, are also close by.
