Summary of the main terms
- Prices. Prices are set by the provider and are gross prices. The provider may change prices, but not for bookings that have already been confirmed. The price includes the tourist tax.
- The contract. By booking, a contract is concluded online between the provider and the guest under these terms. The contract is concluded in Hungarian; by paying for the booking, the guest accepts these terms. The provider may amend the terms by publishing the changes on the website at least 8 days before they take effect.
- Who can book. Only persons aged 18 or over may make a booking. The provider may refuse a booking if false or incomplete data is given or in case of any misuse.
- Booking and confirmation. The contract is created by the guest’s written booking, the provider’s written confirmation and payment of 100% of the confirmed fee. After payment, the guest receives a confirmation e-mail and an electronic invoice. If you do not receive the confirmation within 24 hours of payment, please write to info@pipacsesbuborek.hu.
- Check-in and check-out. Check-in is from 2 pm on the day of arrival; check-out is by 10 am on the day of departure. If you expect to arrive after 8 pm, please let us know in advance. Check-in and check-out follow the host’s instructions; keys are handed over in person or via a key safe, as communicated in advance. Under Hungarian law (Government Decree 235/2019), the identity documents of all guests must be scanned at check-in, regardless of age; without them, the accommodation service will be refused.
- Use of the service. Guests use the service at their own risk and are responsible for everyone staying with them. The provider may terminate the contract with immediate effect in case of improper use or damage, disturbance, breach of safety rules, threatening or offensive behaviour, or an infectious illness; in such cases no refund is due. Neither party is liable for failures caused by force majeure.
- Pets. Pets are not allowed at the accommodation.
- Cancellation by the guest. Cancellations must be made in writing. The full price is refunded if the booking is cancelled at least 5 days before arrival in the off-season, at least 14 days before in the pre- and post-season, and at least 21 days before in the high season; for later cancellations, early departure or no-show, the full price is charged.
- Camera surveillance. For property protection, one camera each operates above the entrance and in the back garden; recordings are deleted automatically after 72 hours. Details are in the camera notice in our House Rules.
- Complaints. Verbal complaints are investigated immediately; written complaints are answered within 15 days. If a complaint is rejected, the guest may turn to the Conciliation Board competent for the provider’s registered office (bekeltetes.hu), the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform, or the competent district office.
- Liability. The provider is liable for damage caused through its own fault on the premises, but not for damage caused by unavoidable external events or by the guest. For cash and valuables, the provider is only liable if it has taken them into safekeeping. Any damage must be reported immediately.
- Changes or cancellation by the provider. If the stay has to be changed or cancelled for reasons on the provider’s side, the provider will notify the guest, if possible, at least 14 days in advance; the guest may choose a refund or have the amount credited towards another stay.
- Governing law. The terms are governed by Hungarian law. The Hungarian terms were adopted and took effect on 21 October 2026.
